My Silly Sock’s Big Adventure
I woke up this morning.
I reached for my socks.
One sock was missing!
I heard tiny knocks.
I peered under my bed.
A sound: “Tap, tap, tap.”
My sock was crawling—
Escaping the nap!
It dashed to the kitchen.
It skated on tiles.
I tried to grab it,
But it ran for miles!
It slid down the hallway.
It danced on the rug.
I pounced—too slowly!
That sock is so smug.
Finally, it tripped.
I scooped it up fast.
I said, “Naughty sock,
Your fun cannot last!”
I tucked it safely
Into my shoe.
It might still wiggle—
But it can’t run from you!
